When I was a child, I once saw an elderly woman struggling to carry her groceries across a busy street. People walked past her, some glancing at her momentarily before continuing on their way. Without thinking, I ran up to her and offered to help. She smiled warmly and thanked me, and at that moment, I realized how simple acts of kindness could make a difference.
